Dupont State Forest is a vast area of wilderness, waterfalls, and rapids located on the east side of Transylvania County, NC. High Falls is the uppermost waterfall, one of a series of spectacular waterfalls including Triple Falls. This painting is a partial view of High Falls as seen from a walking trail ending at its base.
